Special Feature on neurodegenerative diseases and their therapeutic approaches
Studies of neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD), Parkinson’s disease (PD), Huntington’s disease (HD) and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) are becoming increasingly important in this rapidly growing population of ageing.
This special issue, titled “Neurodegenerative diseases and their therapeutic approaches”, discusses the underlying pathogenic mechanisms and therapeutic implications for AD and other age-associated neurodegenerative disorders, with 5 specially-invited review articles. Each review provides readers an current overview of the researches and deep insights and perspectives on future studies on AD and related neurodegenerative disorders.
